Frequently Asked Questions
When does the advertising campaign start and end?
The campaign will start October 1st, 2024 and conclude on December 31st, 2024. It runs for a total of three months.
What do I have to do to opt in to the campaign?
Simply sign up via the opt-in form and grant Cantaloupe access to push the ads to your selected devices for the campaign. Devices must be actively transacting on the Cantaloupe network to qualify. Cantaloupe will push the ads on the backend, so you don’t have to worry about doing this manually.
What is the revenue share if I do opt in?
Once the advertisement is deployed onto your devices and/or kiosks, you will qualify for $0.02 per transaction on all your devices displaying the ad during the promotion period. *
*The campaign has a maximum revenue share limit of one million impressions.
How does Cantaloupe define an impression?
One transaction is equal to one impression.
What is the process once I opt-in?
If you said “Yes” to allowing for deployment on all your qualifying POS devices, then the Cantaloupe team will take your completed opt-in form and start deploying the advertisements to your devices within 5 – 7 business days.
If you said “No” to allowing for “all devices,” then the Cantaloupe team will reach out to you to provide a report from Seed Live, Seed Cashless+, Seed Pro, or Cantaloupe Go that indicates all of the “approved” devices or POS terminals that the ad can be deployed to. This may delay your ads from being deployed until we receive a file with all the necessary requirements.
Will the advertisements continue to run if the total campaign impressions have been reached before the “end date” of the promotion period?
Yes. If you have agreed to allow us to continue to run the advertisements, we will enable them to run throughout the entire three-month campaign period.
Why should I allow the ads to continue to run on my POS terminals if the total impressions have been reached and I’m not earning anymore revenue on my devices?
The better the campaign performs overall in consumer donations; the greater opportunity Cantaloupe has at securing a higher participation and additional funding from like payment brands in the future. This would mean additional ad revenue sharing opportunities for you.
What if I need to remove an ad at a location after the campaign is deployed?
Email customerservice@cantaloupe.com and our team will remove the specific location/device that has the advertisement deployed to it. This may take up to 24 – 36 hours to complete.
Will Cantaloupe provide a transactions report for the duration of the campaign, detailing the revenue I will be paid out? If so, how often?
Yes, upon completion of the three-month period, or if one million impressions have been reached, whichever occurs first, then Cantaloupe will provide a total for each participating operator of the quantity of transactions and the qualifying revenue share for each device during the qualifying period. The operator will receive their revenue share within 30 days of completion of the campaign.
How will I get paid for my revenue share? How often will Cantaloupe issue payouts?
The Operator will get paid within 30 days post-completion of the promotional campaign.
How can I opt in for all future ad campaigns without filling out this form again?
You have the option when signing up for this campaign to opt-in to all future campaigns that we offer through the Cantaloupe AdVantage program. Otherwise, when we launch quarterly campaigns, we’ll notify customers of the opportunities to opt in.
