You’ve just purchased a previously-owned machine with an ePort device installed on it, now how do you get it activated?
If you purchased this device from a 3rd party reseller or distributor, please email activations@cantaloupe.com. If you purchased your device through a non-reseller or distrbutor, we have outlined the steps that you’ll need to take below to get your device activated.
It will expedite the transfer process if the original owner directly submits a written statement of transfer authorization written authorization 2-3 weeks prior to transfer start.
You will need to have the following information ready to setup your new account:
Please Note: Response time for an email reply from Cantaloupe may take up to 2 business days. Also, if any information is missing, this may also cause further delays in finalizing your new account paperwork. Once completed new account paperwork is received by Cantaloupe, it will take 1-2 business days to activate this new account.
EMAIL NEW ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT
You will need to have the following information ready to start the transfer process:
Please Note: Response time from Cantaloupe may take up to 3 weeks. You should only respond to the original email from the Cantaloupe transfer team, if you send a new email, it will cause delays in your transfer process. Also, if your device is under contract as a rental or leased unit, this may increase delays in getting it transferred as well.
EMAIL TRANSFERS DEPARTMENT
You will receive a “Welcome Email” to initiate the transfer process.
Cantaloupe will then contact the original device owner to verify the transfer authorization (if this had not been previously sent it).
Once, the original owner authorizes the transfer, Cantaloupe will send you our “Transfer Quote” paperwork to be signed.
After you have completed the Docusign, your device activation will be live in 2 business days after the email is received.
